Procurement Engineer

Description:

We are looking for a Junior Procurement Engineer with minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the Telecommunication and Security Systems Industry catering to the Oil and Gas Industry. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality materials and services for the project.

Responsibilities:

✳️Work closely with project management and engineering teams to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

✳️ Source and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal delivery, quality, and cost.

✳️ Implement procurement best practices, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

✳️ Develop and maintain procurement plans and schedules, monitor performance, and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with other project team members to manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure project success.

✳️ Technically sound in the telecommunication and security systems industry and show the ability to understand and clarify technical related information between Engineering department and the vendor.

✳️ Ability to propose economical solutions to Engineering team that meets the project requirement
