Hiring Procurement Officer – Food Industry

Responsibilities
- Process purchase requests (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) within 3-4 working days, ensuring timely material delivery as per specifications.
- Procure materials economically, beating budget and market prices, while maintaining complete purchase records by project and item.
- Monitor project material costs against the approved budget and prepare monthly savings reports.
- Coordinate with departments (Technical, Planning, Factory, Store) to clarify material specifications and delivery needs.
- Manage supplier relations, ensuring timely delivery and addressing issues like shortages or defects.
- Source new products and suppliers, negotiating better prices, terms, and delivery services.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in relevant field
- Awareness of local and international procurement sources.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in Foods direct and indirect procurement
