Description:
Role Summary : The Project Controls Coordinator manages, integrates, coordinates and reviews the work of the Project Controls group to develop, implement, feed, reconcile, and maintain valuable program control databases and reports. A project controls coordinator to support the Project Controls Team, and especially the project cost controller with miscellaneous project controls task. Being a focal point for the invoicing process.
Accountabilities
- Follow up of invoicing process (Both supplier / subcontractor and client)
- Follow up that incoming invoices are immediately invoiced to client
- Follow up invoice approval process to ensure no time is lost
- Follow up payment of invoices
- Ensure full visibility of cash in / cash out and the link between them
- Ensuring that invoices have required back-up information
- Liaise with Finance and Accounting (F&A) Department/ Accounts Payable and support where required
- Participate in improvement of Project Control System
Phasing of cash and Value of Work Done incl. monthly update
- Support of project cost controller: o Cost/commitment/invoice control
- Project cost Forecasting according to Budgets and Baselines
- Organize and establish Project Cost Baseline (CCE) updates
- Monthly cost and change reporting
- Change management
- Monitoring and analysis of Contractor performance, including cost estimates, bids, change orders, invoices, quantities, material/labor rates, physical engineering/construction/ commissioning and start-up progress
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Education
- University degree in Engineering or relevant experience to compensate for the lack of it
Experience
- Project controls for large industrial construction project with focus on cost control
- Project Cost control systems
- Knowledge of Project Accounting/Financial reporting General:
- Energetic, practical, systematic and delivery oriented.
- Well developed communication skills.
- Good English skills, written and verbal.
