Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for local curation of street food vendors for the festival. This includes sourcing, onboarding and managing street food vendors, from initial outreach and introductions to supporting them during the live event in Abu Dhabi.
Specifically, the Project Manager should:
- Be passionate about street food, always looking for the latest trends, the newest dishes, the next big thing.
- Liaise with market managers and street food vendors to select the best vendors to showcase Korea.
- Ensure that selected vendors reflect a wide range of modern and traditional Korean street food.
- Be the main point of contact for market managers and street food vendors throughout the project.
- Create, update and share a vendor tracker and status reports on a regular basis.
- Help vendors to identify their requirements for local staffing, equipment and ingredients in Abu Dhabi.
- Work closely with our wider team, aligning with event production, project management and marketing, collaborating to enhance the event experience and build value for the vendors.
- Attend internal and external meetings to present and discuss project status and progress.
- Carry out other tasks as reasonably requested during the project.
Requirements
About you
You should be:
- Passionate about Korean street food and culture.
- Experienced in F&B, and ideally in street food concepts or operations.
- Professional, independent and self-motivated, with excellent time management skills.
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment.
As a minimum, you should have:
- 5+ years experience in events and / or F&B.
- A valid Passport.
- Fluent spoken and written Korean.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
