Project Sales Engineer

 

Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Project Engineer to manage engineering projects from concept to handover and provide support to clients post-project. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure technical specifications are met, manage budgets and timelines, and support clients to ensure optimal system performance. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and customer service experience to deliver successful projects and aftersales support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Project Planning & Design: Develop detailed project plans, technical drawings, and specifications. Coordinate with stakeholders to meet project requirements.

· Execution Oversight: Manage project execution, guiding field teams and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to KHIND’s quality and safety standards.

· Quality Control: Ensure compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards through inspections and audits.

· Budget & Cost Management: Monitor budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and keep projects within budget.

· Risk Management: Identify project risks and implement solutions to mitigate them.

· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, including design changes and progress reports, and provide updates to stakeholders.

· Technical Problem-Solving: Address on-site issues to keep the project on track. Escalate complex issues to the Project Manager.

· Client Training: Train clients on system usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

· Aftersales Support: Provide post-installation support, including troubleshooting and maintenance.

· Feedback Loop for Improvement: Collect client feedback for continuous product and service improvement.

 

Requirements:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

· Experience: 1-3 years in project engineering within industries like lighting, HVAC, or similar.

· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles, project design, and safety standards.

· Certifications (Preferred):

o PMP or CAPM

o Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or (CEA)

o LEED Accreditation

o Safety certifications (CSP, OSHA, NEBOSH)

· Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a team and manage complex projects.

· Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyze technical drawings and make informed decisions.

· Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).

· Aftersales Service Knowledge: Understanding of aftersales support practices and system maintenance.

· Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites within the UAE and surrounding regions.
