Description:
The PR Executive is responsible for executing the PR strategies of Maison Pyramide's clients and handling all their PR activities by reaching out to endorsers for collaboration and media for publishing press kits to establish a brand identity and elevate the PR level of the brands. As well as working on constantly seeking to expand MP’s international press database.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
- Create communication, media and PR strategies for PR Clients
- Proactive and reactive media engagement, including identifying new opportunities to promote clients and reacting quickly to events
- Research target media, produce distribution lists and compiling forward features
- Expand MP’s international press database by researching and staying update with the market to know of new editors and stylists.
- Schedule interviews, features and/or public appearances
- Arrange client photography and attend shoots if required
- Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references
- Event management, including press conferences and promotional events
Communications, Media and Media Relations
- Build relationship and network with colleagues, clients and the media: face- to-face, online and via telephone
- Research, write and distribute press releases
- Draft copy for client collateral, direct mail campaigns, newsletters, websites, feature articles, adverts and marketing materials
- Generate positive news coverage, achieve product placement without payment in broadcast, print and new media
- Attend client meetings to take project briefs and to review ongoing projects, taking notes and producing client contact reports to summarize any agreed actions and time schedules for delivery
- Deal with clients on a day-to-day basis by telephone and email to progress jobs, and any other general client requirements
- Promote new stories and features to media
- Attend events (clients’ & company) as required, which may fall on evenings or weekends
- Reach out for influencers and celebrities to secure endorsement for brands during an event.
- Suggest brand collaboration and/or CSR campaigns according to the client’s strategy.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Organize, analyze and evaluate media coverage with appropriate metrics
- Prepare regular client reports
Internal Consultancy
- Provide internal consultancy when necessary within the units: Management, PR, Sales and Social Media
- Help provide content and copywriting for all MP units as required
- Maintain consistent language and corporate image throughout MP and its media contacts and collaterals
Organizational Responsibilities
- Contribute to team and organizational meetings
- Assist and provide information for MP Brand-book & Website
- Undertake other duties as required
Qualifications
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree
- At least 1-2 years of PR experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Fluent in English
- Plans strategically
- Excellent Organizational and Time management skills
- Fashion and luxury knowledge and background is preferable
