Our client is seeking to hire Purchasing and Operations Controller
- Experience working with MNC with relevant experience.
- Handling overseas import and exports.
- UAE experience is a must.
- Location: Dubai
- Salary: AED 8000 – 10000
Duties:
- Manage all PO’s from receipt from customer to co-ordination with factories, logistics, sales and finance
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Maintaining all records of operational activities such as sales, inventory levels, shipping activity, delivery dates
- In co-ordination with Financial controller, sales and Director – develop budgets based on projected sales and costs
- Regular update on any potential issues or concerns regarding deliveries, warehousing etc
- Communicating issues to management regarding any problems with products or processes that may affect delivery or production
- Monitoring activities to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Continually look for ways to improve and simplify the purchasing and operations
- Review the cost base and propose any new solutions or suppliers
- Work alongside sales in managing new tenders – working closely with suppliers for best prices
- Look at new supplier opportunities
- Check supplier invoices prior to payment
- Negotiating with vendors to get best price
- Review all quotes from suppliers to ensure they meet all the requirements within the tender
- Work closely with customer services and sales on any customer issues
