Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement and Sourcing:
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s production schedules, cost objectives, and quality standards.
Identify and source materials, machinery, and consumables essential for manufacturing, balancing cost, quality, and reliability.
Conduct market research to find reliable suppliers and alternative sources to maintain a robust supply chain.

Vendor Management and Negotiation:
Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, focusing on cost-effectiveness, quality, and delivery reliability.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals while ensuring quality standards.
Assess, qualify, and audit vendors regularly to ensure compliance with company and industry requirements.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels without overstocking, aligning with production forecasts.
Work closely with the production and planning teams to forecast material requirements and adjust procurement plans accordingly.
Manage lead times, reordering points, and just-in-time (JIT) inventory systems to avoid production delays.

Cost Control and Budgeting:
Prepare, monitor, and manage the purchasing budget, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
Analyze and report on spending trends, cost variances, and purchasing metrics to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
Review and analyze purchase requisitions, ensuring purchases are within budget and meet the production requirements.

Quality Control and Compliance:
Establish quality standards for all procured items and ensure all purchases meet these standards.
Coordinate with the quality control team to address any quality issues with suppliers and implement corrective actions.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and UAE labor laws.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain organized records of purchase orders, vendor contracts, invoices, and delivery schedules for audit and tracking purposes.
Generate regular reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance for review by senior management.
Track and report on key metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the procurement function.

Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, including material shortages, price volatility, and supplier issues.
Develop contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions and ensure continuity of production.
