Hiring QA/Hygiene Officer
Job description
- Must have Poultry/Beef processing experience.
- Preference will be given for UAE based candidates.
- Must have UAE regulatory and standards experience.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities:
- Update and implement, company and official governmental HSE Standard & Procedure.
- Conduct internal audit and support external audits.
- Control machinery and tools quality and critical points control.
- Understanding of the market and client needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the production teams.
- Implementing ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods.
- Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them.
- Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
- Supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance.
- Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.
- Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
- Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products.
- Implementing Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) to be followed by all.
- Train the production team and raise awareness for food & personal hygiene.
- Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
- Gaining feedback from the clients, attending meetings, submitting reports, and assisting external auditors and inspectors.
- Be the focal point with Dubai Municipality, Managing Food Watch platform, and any other authority government entity.
Job Requirements
Education/Certification and Continued Education
- Undergraduate and Graduate preferred.
Years of Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a relevant role
Skills
- Must be PC literate
- Previous F&B Production Experience essential (must have poultry and beef processing experience)
- ·Must speak & read English fluently. Additional language is a plus.
- Must have HSE, HACCP, PIC and ISO certifications
