Qhse Coordinator

 

Description:

The qualified candidate is expected to develop and continuously improve the company’s Safety Management System, provide training in Safety Management System and Risk Management Tools, monitor the effectiveness of the QHSE Management System through formal QHSE audits and inspections on and offshore, advise on regulatory requirements in the various areas of operation, and liaising with governmental agencies as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field (Business Administration, Occupational Safety, etc.)
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Internal Auditor
  • ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Internal Auditor
  • ISO 14001:2018 Environment Management System Internal Auditor
  • Trained for fire safety
  • Experience in the QHSE Management System
  • Ability to work in a high stress environment and manage time effectively
  • Ability to adapt and work in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and solution-based decision-making with an understanding of recording and disseminating information.
  • Good record-keeping skills and ability to accurately and thoroughly document events
  • Proficient skills in IT governance and administration and knowledge management principles
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office

Plus points:

  • Business continuity, project management, performance monitoring, and portfolio monitoring experience
  • Arabic speaker
