Quantity Surveyor required
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in Luxury Villa projects and industrial buildings construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, manage, and oversee the project budgets, ensuring accurate cost control throughout the lifecycle of industrial construction projects.
- Contribute to value engineering processes to optimize project costs without compromising on quality.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and relevant regulations.
- Cost Management: Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within the approved budget.
- Estimations: Provide accurate cost estimates and prepare bills of quantities for interior fit-out projects.
- Tendering: Preparation and evaluation of tenders, including reviewing contractor bids and providing cost analysis.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and specifications.
- Cost Reporting: Produce detailed cost reports and financial statements, highlighting any variances from the budget and providing recommendations for cost control.
- Procurement: Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractors, ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.
- Change Management: Manage and evaluate changes in project scope, preparing variation orders and cost implications.
- Collaboration: Liase with project team, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UAE and Middle East, with a strong focus on industrial buildings construction.
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and financial procedures specific to industrial projects.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge with Planswift software, Autocad, Revit
- Salary: AED 4,000-6,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
