Description:
We’re currently looking for a Receptionist to join our team. In this role you’ll be responsible for assisting our team by greeting and meeting patients, carryout administrative duties and tasks, diary management as well as assisting our patients with their questions or queries in person or via the telephone.
As you’ll be the first point of contact, we’re looking for someone who is not only confident, bubbly and friendly but deposits an approachable and pleasant personality too. Due to the fast-paced nature of the clinic you’ll need to be competent at multitasking and working under pressure.
Role specifications
- Greet and welcome patients upon their arrival
- Direct patients to the appropriate waiting area
- Liase with staff members on the arrival of patients
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Collect patient information and input the data onto our internal EMR system
- Assist suppliers or visitors with accurate information and inform staff members of their arrival
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Update internal calendars and schedule or reschedule patient appointments
- Assist with arranging travel and accommodations for patients
- Keep patient files updated.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, data entry, etc
- Assisting and supporting the operations manager with adhoc tasks.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional attitude and presentable appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in speaking fluent English – Arabic is advantageous
- Has the ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
