Description:
Responsible to drive the profitable growth initiatives, internally and externally with customers, within WAA region for their assigned respective segments, to grow company revenue and market share. Master segment data (including but not limited to competition analysis, specs, approvals, regulations, market size, etc. Lead end-to-end process for mega deals and customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for analyzing and researching the market size of the target industry, top customers, competitors, value chain, regulations, approvals, and key success factors, etc., and establishing and improving the industry ecosystem.
• Responsible for leading the team to identify potential industry markets in key regions/countries to develop business opportunities and guide sales to develop sustainable and iterative businesses.
• Responsible for understanding and summarizing the product/application requirements of industry customers and supporting the development of product/application solutions.
• Responsible for organizing and carrying out marketing activities of industry application products/solutions and promoting sales and other departments to carry out exhibitions and promotion activities for industry customers.
• Develop and lead the company growth Key strategic initiatives (KSIs) related to his respective field and region to pave the road for growth.
• Develop and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for company performance related to the assigned segments, responsible to lead the organization for growth and KPI improvement as approved by management team.
• liaise with key segment c-level leaders, decision-makers, and influencers in the countries such as EPCs, end-users, developers, consultants, utilities etc.
• manage the pipeline for mega opportunities in his respective segment, and key countries. And lead sales capture team for key opportunities.
• Responsible for segment related marketing activities (events, social media, website etc.)
• Master and train the team for the segment unique selling points in respective markets.
• Based on the company's development strategy, actively lead the team to change, regularly coach and empower the team to improve their overall professional ability. maintain strong communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for leading the team to complete the industry operation manual and achieve business breakthroughs for benchmark customers.
Qualifications and requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in electrical engineering.
• MBA in marketing, strategy, and/or international trade is a plus.
• More than 10 years of working experience in Business development, sales or industry field expansion, more than 5 years of working experience in management position.
• Expert in electrical power management business models and the operation of international trade business, with keen judgment on market development; min. 4 years’ experience in Middle east and Africa markets
• Excellent analytical skills, able to translate data into business insights for decision support.
