Description:
The Regional Product manager will be responsible to drive the profitable growth of our products and systems in the region., Own and Manage the overall lifecycle of Medium and High voltage products and systems in Middle East and Africa region, from analyzing voice of customer (market needs), followed by product selection, development, enhancement, launching, positioning, supporting, and promoting till end of life and products phase out. With all related activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and lead Transmission and Distribution Products and systems strategy per key country in Middle East and Africa.
• Develop and Conduct research and analysis on regional market needs, competitive situations, and business models, etc., focus on application and other requirements, analyzing competitors' product and developing analysis reports.
• Run full product mapping, formulate product development roadmap with global product management team including product improvement and new product development.
• Based on value proposition, develop product market positioning and competitive strategies for profitable growth.
• Lead and improve product sales, gross profit margin, product launch time, life cycle, etc., to continuously improve the market competitiveness of the company's products and the market share of new products.
• Develop deep domain expertise in his offer portfolio, Research and detect market opportunities,
• Act as product owner in the region, in terms of support expertise and lifetime management, technical support and marketing activities for regional products, promoting sales and other departments and achieve sales goals.
• Responsible for price management of products in the region, understanding market trends, adjusting product price strategies and sales strategies in time according to market changes, and monitoring product profit levels.
• Working jointly with sales & prescription team work on getting Consultant & key Utilities approvals in the region.
• Ensure products are following Local regulations in each country in the region.
• Develop Sales enablement tools including training and documents.
• Actively leading and developing the country and regional teams to change, regularly coach and empower the team, to improve synergy between countries and functions for better efficiency and growth.
Qualifications and requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above, in electrical engineering, Engineering master’s degree / MBA are preferred.
• More than 12 years of working experience in product management, technical fields of energy management products and systems
