Zyva Capital International LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Regional Partner to lead our business expansion in the UAE, either by managing investment funds locally or by strategically distributing UAE clients to Zyva Capital’s managed funds in the United States. This unique role will suit a seasoned investment professional with extensive fund management experience, the ability to navigate UAE regulatory requirements, and a strong network of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and institutional clients.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing Zyva Capital’s presence in the UAE, leading client acquisition efforts, and overseeing compliance with regional regulations or U.S. fund distribution requirements.
Position Description
As the Senior Regional Partner - UAE, you will serve as Zyva Capital’s key representative in the region, responsible for establishing and managing client portfolios, developing new business, and ensuring all regulatory standards are met. You may either manage local funds within the UAE or work with HNW clients to facilitate their investments in Zyva Capital’s U.S.-based funds.
Key Objectives:
- Drive Zyva Capital’s growth in the UAE through targeted client acquisition.
- Develop and oversee local fund management or facilitate smooth onboarding for clients investing in U.S.-based funds.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing Zyva Capital’s values and vision across the UAE.
Primary Responsibilities
1)Regional Business Development
- Cultivate relationships with HNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors in the UAE.
- Conduct presentations, meetings, and networking events to promote Zyva Capital’s funds.
- Build strategic alliances with financial institutions and potential partners in the UAE.
2)Fund Management or Client Distribution
- Option 1: Manage Local Funds: Lead the management of investment funds in the UAE, adhering to local regulatory requirements and providing portfolio oversight for HNW clients.
- Option 2: Distribute to U.S. Funds: Facilitate the distribution of UAE-based clients into Zyva Capital’s funds in the United States, ensuring a streamlined client experience and regulatory compliance.
3)Regulatory Compliance
- If Managing UAE Funds: Ensure compliance with all local regulatory authorities, including the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) and Central Bank of the UAE.
- If Distributing to U.S. Funds: Coordinate with Zyva Capital’s U.S. compliance team to meet SEC and FINRA regulations, including AML and KYC procedures for international clients.
4)Team Leadership and Office Setup
- Oversee the establishment of Zyva Capital’s UAE office, including staffing, operations, and local marketing.
- Develop operational procedures aligned with Zyva Capital’s global standards and strategic goals.
5)Client Portfolio Management
- Provide continuous portfolio updates to clients, with detailed performance metrics and market insights.
- Deliver tailored investment strategies that align with client objectives and Zyva Capital’s risk management protocols.
6)Strategic Planning and Reporting
- Develop quarterly and annual business plans for the UAE region, including revenue targets, client acquisition goals, and regional AUM growth.
- Provide regular updates to Zyva Capital’s executive team on performance, market trends, and challenges.
Key Qualifications
- Fund Management License: Must hold or be eligible for licensing required to manage funds in the UAE or to facilitate client onboarding to U.S.-based funds.
- Experience: 10+ years in investment fund management or a related role with a focus on HNW clients.
- Client Network: Established network within the UAE’s HNW and institutional investor markets.
- Equity Buy-In: Ability to buy in as a partner in Zyva Capital.
- Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of UAE and U.S. regulatory requirements, including AML/KYC standards.
Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
The Senior Regional Partner must ensure compliance with either UAE or U.S. regulatory requirements, depending on the focus:
- UAE Fund Management: Full compliance with the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) and the Central Bank of the UAE.
- Client Distribution to U.S. Funds: Adherence to SEC and FINRA regulations for cross-border investments, as well as AML and KYC compliance.
