Description:
The Resident Engineer will oversee and manage the execution of parks and recreational projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring that all works are performed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering, landscape architecture, and project management, particularly in parks and recreational projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Technical Oversight:
- Review and approve construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to contractors and construction teams.
- Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Liaise with local authorities and utility providers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular meetings with project stakeholders to update them on progress and address any concerns.
- Financial Management:
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure they align with the budget.
- Approve invoices and manage change orders.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the project.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with HSE regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety on-site and conduct regular safety audits.
- Address any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
