Retail Marketing Manager

 

Description:

Drive the marketing agenda for our client in the retail and e-commerce business within a fast-changing market with aggressive growth goals. The focus will be on online and digital platforms, requiring coordination with internal teams on strategic brands, corporate marketing, and UAE/Oman retail teams. Success is measured by significant gains in brand awareness, trial, and retention, contributing to the overall commercial benefit.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Business Planning:

  • Develop and implement Retail & Digital marketing strategies across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Northern Emirates, and Oman.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build an integrated marketing approach.

Customer Engagement:

  • Develop and manage CRM strategies and customer databases.
  • Manage loyalty partnerships and customer engagement systems.

Marketing:

  • Develop and manage retail and e-commerce promotions and discounting strategies.
  • Implement targeted campaigns and manage customer communications.
  • Handle direct marketing and media plans across all channels.

In-store Merchandising/Promotion:

  • Develop and manage retail merchandising standards.
  • Coordinate retail real estate usage and store-in-store experiences.

Business Development:

  • Develop strategic partnerships and explore non-traditional advertising.
  • Stay updated on global retailing and marketing trends.
  • Enhance strategies through partnerships and new product lines.

 

Key Performance Objectives:

  • Improve retail brand awareness and perception.
  • Increase footfall to existing outlets.
  • Drive customer loyalty and engagement.
  • Acquire new customers and switchers from competitors.
  • Achieve effective marketing within budget.
  • Measure and report on brand awareness and marketing ROI.

 

Experience:

  • Business/marketing degree.
  • 5+ years’ retail experience with exposure to consumer marketing, marketing planning and strategy, communications (ATL/BTL), direct marketing.
  • Experience in retail operations, promotions, pricing.
  • Knowledge of loyalty and CRM programs.
  • Skills in sales, research, finance, and project management.
