Russian Speaking Deputy Technical Director

Description:

BAT DWC is looking for a Russian speaking Deputy Technical Director who will oversee technical and engineering operations of the Business Aviation MRO organizations located in Latvia, UAE and USA, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in all maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities. This role requires a deep understanding of aviation regulations, engineering practices, and operational management to maintain the fleet's airworthiness and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

- Aeronautical Engineering degree/ Mechanical Engineering degree/ Aircraft Maintenance Technician qualification with additional education;

- Experience in leadership or management role within an aviation MRO organization;

- MS Office and ability to work with computerized MRO software;

- Knowledge of English and Russian languages;

- Aviation maintenance certifications (FAA A&P, EASA Part 66);

- HF/FTS/EWIS training;

- Ability to think analytically, work in a team, excellent communication skills;

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement technical policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and safety requirements (FAA, EASA);

- Ensure all maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities comply with aviation regulatory;

- Serve as the primary liaison with aviation regulatory bodies, representing the company during audits, inspections, and certifications;

- Participates in management team activities including staff employment;

- Ensuring that corrective action(s), resulting from quality audit findings are carried out by the responsible manager for that area;

- Monitor and control expenditures related to maintenance, parts, and engineering services;

- Oversee the planning and execution of maintenance schedules;

- Controlling and analyzing the maintenance and production staff work time versus the actual manhours;
