Description:
The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and implementing OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 as well as ensuring compliance with HSE standards.
Accountabilities:
- Maintain safety in all sites by identifying the hazards and implementing the control measures.
- Conduct Risk Assessments for all significant activities.
- Maintain and implement OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Management System
- Reviewing HSE policy periodically
- Conduct Toolbox Trainings (TBTs).
- Assist the audit team for internal and external audits.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plan for the site
- Responsible for providing support on the end-to-end contract management processes, and HSE analysis.
- Organize and manage HSE files and data
- Attend and participate in clients’ meetings to discuss the HSE Performance.
- Prepare and submit HSE reports as per the requirements.
- Develop HSE plans for the projects.
- Participating in the External Audits and Supplier Audits.
- Clients at Projects: Coordination regarding HSE activities, meetings and reports
- Ensure contactors’ compliance with the safety policy and procedures of the company
Qualification & Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in managing occupational health and safety
- Minimum of University degree in any field. Mandatory NEBOSH IGC (NEBOSH iDip or equivalent preferred)
- Experienced in managing HSE Management system.
