Description:
- Understanding individual customer needs and using the space and developing design concepts.
- Actively contribute in the gathering of insights from customers and suggest better options within their budget.
- Stay up to date and knowledgeable about home furnishing, retailing and trends in order to contribute in the customer project to generate creative ideas.
- To visit the customer location to take measurement and understand the spacing.
- Provide design drawing and perspective options to the customers based on their requirements, budget etc.
- Use home furnishing competence to create home furnishing solutions in the assigned projects.
- Assist Visual Merchandisers as and when required, in projects or activities that are planned for the customers.
- Responsible for managing projects from concept through to completion with minimal supervision in collaboration with other departments involved.
- Supervising work at the design stage and on-site and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
- Perform special assignments as given by the Head of the Department.
Knowledge, Skill & Competencies required
- Degree / Diploma in Interior Designing or Architecture.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in the Sales designer or interior designer cum sales department.
- Ability to multitask, good knowledge of planning the projects as per Company requirements.
- Good knowledge in home furnishing, market, social trends and fashion.
- Have proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office suite
