Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced sales engineer to join our client's team in Dubai, UAE, a leading provider of waterproofing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in construction materials and a proven track record in sales. As a sales engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our waterproofing products and services to clients. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, sales skills, and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and projects in need of waterproofing solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and promote our products.
- Provide technical assistance and support to customers throughout the sales process, including product selection, specification, and installation guidance.
- Conduct product presentations for customers.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations related to waterproofing.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project opportunities in the CRM system.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the construction or waterproofing industry.
- Strong understanding of waterproofing materials, systems, and applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
