Sales Engineer

The company is a leading provider of innovative power transmission solutions, including couplings, pulleys, belts, gearboxes, and more.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed sales targets in the power transmission/engineering products sector, including couplings, pulleys, belts, and gearboxes.

 

- Business Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in target industries to generate new business opportunities. Develop sales strategies segment-wise and product-wise for the region.

 

- Sales Planning: Plan sales for unrepresented areas, OEM sales, and end-user sales.

 

-Segment and Product Strategy: Create and implement sales strategies segment wise and product wise in the region.

 

-Key accounts management: Lead category sales and key account management for industries such as paper, cement, rolling, and sugar plants in the region.

 

- Strategic Planning: Strategize and implement the annual sales plan. Drive business development for new products through existing and new customers in the region.

 

- Market Analysis: Track competition in the region and develop new principles/sources for existing and new products.

 

- Technical Presentations: Provide technical presentations and demonstrations to clients, showcasing the value and capabilities of our products and solutions.

 

- Collaboration: Collaborate with the principal’s engineering team to ensure product specifications meet customer needs.

 

- Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies and product development.

 

- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly actionable MIS and various other reports and analyses.

 

- Client Feedback: Provide feedback from clients to the product development team to aid in product enhancements or new product development.

 

Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.

- Proven experience of minimum 5 years in the field of Power Transmission and Engineering products Sales

- Strong technical knowledge of couplings, pulleys, belts, gearboxes, and related products.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Prior experience in the UAE/GCC region is preferred.

- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
