Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for combining technical expertise with sales skills to drive business growth.
  • Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements, offering customized solutions that meet those needs.
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation and qualification to negotiating contracts and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure the proposed solutions are feasible and meet customer specifications.
  • Provide after-sales support, helping with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance if necessary, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Track sales performance, provide regular reports to management, and stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and industry innovations to remain competitive.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Provide technical support to clients, assist in product demonstrations, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful project implementation.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience (typically 5-8 years) in a marketing role, preferably within the marine, maritime, or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of shipbuilding and ship repair.
  • Age: 25 yrs to 40 yrs.
  • Technical competencies: Technology & Software Proficiency, Market and Industry Trends, Communication & Collaboration Skills, Quality Assurance and Control, Project Planning & Scheduling.
