Description:
We are currently hiring for an energetic Senior Sales Engineer for our new company in Dubai.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies and tactics that maximize the company’s success opportunities with major customers.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Building a network of customer executive relationships and conducting customer negotiations.
- Opportunistically pursuing additional business development opportunities within customer firms.
- Identifying new potential clients and territory to expand sales and market share successfully.
- Managing relationships with existing customers and developing opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
- Managing sales pipeline, forecasting monthly sales and identifying new business opportunities.
- Fostering growth by tapping into new markets, expanding footprint with existing customers, creating a performance and result-oriented culture.
- Conducting highly effective presentations to executives.
- Proactively scoping the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assessing customers met and unmet needs, and recommending solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
- Actively generating leads through various channels, such as cold calling, networking events, and online platforms.
- Building and nurturing client relationships by conducting regular client meetings and providing ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive offerings, and potential areas for expansion.
- Developing comprehensive and compelling sales proposals and project plans that effectively communicate the value of the company's IT solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems or any related field.
- 8+ years of work experience as a sales engineer with a proven track record of success.
- Solid technical background with a strong understanding and hands-on experience in telecommunications and networking services.
- Extensive international market experience, particularly in Dubai, demonstrating a deep understanding of the local business landscape, cultural nuances, and a successful track record in driving business development and sales in the IT services sector.
- Strong industry-specific experience in IT services, with a deep understanding of IT networks, light current systems, and related technologies.
- Proven track record of driving business development and sales, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets, and winning new clients in the IT services sector.
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, adapting communication style to various stakeholders.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, allowing for effective communication and building strong client relationships.
