Sales Executive

 

Description:

We are looking for an energetic, driven and creative sales professional that will bring a local network and fresh thinking to our franchise, build strong relationships and work with brands on sponsorship activation / sales strategies.

 

The role

 

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for researching the market, targeting and identifying multiple sectors, developing sales opportunities, and executing sales pitches to corporates.

 

Your role will be to consult brands, identify their brand and business objectives and sell appropriate solutions, in line with Desert Vipers commercial objectives.

 

It would be beneficial for you to have experience in cricket / sport, but not essential. An interest in sustainability in sport will be positively considered. You will require 2/3+ years’ experience in a business development role, hands on experience with sales and a track record of building strong client relationships.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Identify relevant leads in a variety of sectors and territories
  • Open and close viable business opportunities
  • Liaise and pitch to clients
  • Have confidence to sell direct to MD/CEO level
  • Manage team partner relationships
  • Present solutions both in person and virtually to potential clients
  • Create proposals and decks (working in partnership with colleagues in the commercial team)

 

Requirements

 

  • “Hunter” mentality and target driven
  • UAE-based. We will consider applicants from the wider region, but we intend to hire someone as local as possible
  • Pro-active attitude and an eagerness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Willingness to work long hours / weekends when appropriate - particularly in the build up to and during DP World ILT20 season.
