Description:
Bafleh Jewellery is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Support Executive to join our Retail Support Operations team. In this role, you will be integral to managing our inventory and ensuring smooth operational processes across our branches and headquarters. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in inventory management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements (Stock IN/Stock OUT).
- Regularly update and manage Excel spreadsheets to track inventory levels.
- Conduct stock takes to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Ensure proper tagging and documentation for incoming and outgoing goods.
- Operational Coordination:
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
- Oversee the re-packaging and tagging of goods after inspection and quality checks.
- Manage documentation for returns, repairs, and scrap items.
- Customer Order Management:
- Receive and process customer orders with attention to detail.
- Prepare goods for delivery, including necessary shipping documentation.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect diamonds, gemstones, and luxury watches for quality and authenticity.
- Ensure all certified diamonds and watches are properly documented and tagged.
- Assist with re-tagging and re-documentation as required.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive transaction logs and operational activity records.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with financial reconciliations related to gold and diamond inventory.
- Team Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with purchasing, sales, and repair teams.
- Provide support to branch teams with stock-taking activities and operational queries.
- Assist in training new staff on inventory management processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience (X years) in inventory management, ideally in the jewelry or luxury goods industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
Additional Skills:
- Expertise in inventory management software and systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Prior experience in the jewelry or luxury goods industry is a plus.
