Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Outdoor Sales Specialist to join our Events Rental team. This role is focused on driving sales through face-to-face interactions, on-site client visits, and active engagement with event organizers, venues, and other potential partners. As an integral part of the sales team, you will represent our brand, build strong client relationships, and deliver exceptional event rental solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Sales and Client Engagement:
- Actively seek out and engage with potential clients through outdoor sales activities, such as site visits, networking events, and cold calls.
- Meet clients at their locations to understand their event needs and present tailored rental solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, venue owners, corporate clients, and other stakeholders.
- Assess client requirements and propose appropriate rental products and services to meet their event objectives.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations during on-site meetings.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to close deals while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to cover the assigned sales territory effectively.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of leads and prospects through outdoor sales activities.
- Regularly update the CRM system with client interactions, progress, and follow-up actions.
- Industry Knowledge and Trend Awareness:
- Stay informed about trends in event planning, outdoor events, and rental equipment to provide expert advice to clients.
- Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of rental items.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional activities and materials to support outdoor sales efforts.
- Customer Service and Problem Solving:
- Address client concerns and resolve issues efficiently to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Provide post-event follow-up to gather feedback and identify opportunities for future business.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outdoor sales, preferably in event rentals, event planning, or hospitality industries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
