Salesperson

 

Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Van Salesperson to join our team and drive the sales of our confectionery products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering confectionery products to retailers, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within a designated territory. This role requires excellent sales skills, a passion for confectionery, and the ability to work independently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Sales and Distribution:

• Drive a company van to deliver confectionery products to retail outlets within the assigned territory.

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing customers.

• Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

• Customer Service:

• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

• Provide product information and recommendations to customers.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

• Sales Targets:

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Monitor sales performance and report regularly to the Sales Manager.

• Inventory Management:

• Manage stock levels in the van and ensure products are adequately stocked.

• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.

• Merchandising:

• Ensure that products are well-displayed and merchandised in retail outlets.

• Implement promotional activities and ensure visibility of the products.

• Administration:

• Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and customer interactions.

• Handle cash and reconcile sales with receipts.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience: Previous experience in van sales, especially within the confectionery industry, is preferred.

• Skills:

• Strong sales and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good organizational and time management abilities.

• Basic math skills for handling cash and inventory.

• Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
