Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on sanctions compliance and export control matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis to interpret relevant laws and regulations
• Assist clients in developing tailored compliance programs and policies
• Support clients in assessing transactions for compliance with regulations
• Conduct due diligence on prospective partners, customers, and transactions
• Represent clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions
• Develop and deliver training programs on sanctions and export control requirements
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering proactive advice and solutions

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in U.S., EU, or UK sanctions or export controls
• Demonstrated experience advising clients on complex legal and regulatory issues
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
• Experience working in a reputable law firm or regulatory agency is preferred
