Senior Accountant

Description:

 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, and it will be an advantage if Candidate has significant experience working in an Audit firm. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality audit and accounting services to our clients while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

-Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

-Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close

-Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes

-Research and analyze expense variances for company management

-Lead and execute audit engagements for clients across various industries, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.

-Analyze financial data and provide insightful recommendations to clients for improving internal controls, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

-Prepare and review financial statements, audit reports, and other deliverables in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

-Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance, training, and feedback to support their professional development.

-Communicate effectively with clients, management, and other stakeholders to address questions, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.

-Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing and accounting, applying this knowledge to client engagements and internal processes.

Qualifications

-3+ years' of professional accounting experience

-Work Experience in Auditing or in an Audit Firm is an advantage

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience- CPA preferred

-Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting principles, and regulatory requirements.

-Proficiency in using audit software and accounting tools

-Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and assess areas of risk or non-compliance.

-Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

-Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a commitment to supporting the professional growth and development of junior staff members.

-Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

-Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of work.
