Hriing Senior Backend Developer/ Engineer
Role Type: Outsourced, Full time, On-site
Work Location: Dubai Media City, Dubai, UAE
Contract Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and APIs.
- Implement microservices architectures to ensure scalability and modularity.
- Lead integration with third-party APIs, ensuring seamless data flow, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable, secure, and robust application architectures.
- Leverage knowledge of design patterns, UML, and architectural blueprints.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices, maintainability, and performance standards.
- Design and deploy solutions on AWS leveraging services such as S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS etc.
- Utilize AWS Step Functions and CloudWatch for optimized workflows and monitoring.
- Design and optimize database schemas for PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Ensure efficient query performance and database scalability.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient deployment cycles and automated testing.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Optimize system performance, addressing bottlenecks proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Qualifications and Experience (Essential):
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
- Proven expertise in microservices and API design.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EKS etc).
- Strong database knowledge in both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB).
- Proficiency in implementing design patterns, UML diagrams, and architectural frameworks.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Understanding of front-end frameworks to facilitate end-to-end collaboration.
