Description:
- Mechanical Engineer Graduate (Preferably)
- At least 5 years working with NOCs and IOCs and Contracts in GCC.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on the same field
- Regional Sales/Business Development Oil & Gas/Energy Industry.
- Required Pipe, Flanges, Fittings experience with pipe manufactures or distributors/stockists, Oil & Gas Construction companies.
- Valve experience is an added benefit.
- MENA Project experience is preferred.
- Proven track record in exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of End-User approvals, vendor registrations
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Business Development Manager reporting to Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Exceed sales objectives by promoting Distribution Services’ solutions through professional sales techniques and a focus on delivering value to our customers.
- Increase the penetration of customer spend within the responsible DSC(s)
- Communicate the current and future Distribution Services objectives and technological initiatives clearly within the customer organization at all levels.
- Manage opportunities and technical issues across the entire range of DSC Solutions & Offerings.
- Establish market drivers and needs of the market and disseminate back into the DSC organization.
- Establish a relationship within strategic customers in the respective area of responsibility and become the focal person and advocate between Operations and the customer.
- Identify opportunities for organic and acquisitive growth within the area of responsibility (i.e. entry to market, acquisition, and technology opportunities).
- Maintain and build integrity in the DSC pricing strategy to ensure maximum profitability and growth for DSC and our customers.
- Gain market intelligence within a highly competitive environment.
- Become an integral part and valuable leader of the International Sales organization.
- Communicate and work with the Area Sales organization to ensure that there is a clear understanding of the customer’s plans and activities.
- Lead and assist in setting pricing strategies for the Region around the respective offering.
- Participate in monthly Area meetings with the Area Sales Team and Area Operations Team to ensure clarity around goals, issues, and opportunities.
- Manage and maintain integrity with the Area Sales budget.
- Focus regular actions on special relationship initiatives that will take the relationship to the next level.
- Utilize, build and maintain Call Plans, Account Summaries, Relationship Map, Solution Summaries, and other Sales Best Practices tools on the various strategic accounts within the area of responsibility.
- Maintain consistent communication with the International Sales Manager concerning issue resolutions and current status of opportunities.
- Manage the Accounts Receivable and DSC processes with the Area to ensure customer accountability and on-time payments.
- Conduct quarterly reviews with the Business Development Managers to ensure strict focus on opportunities, issues, product development, action items, and personal development.
- Maintain strict confidentiality according to internal policy from Area customers.
- Support the DSC Sales Best Practice methodology.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
