Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the development and delivery of our diverse range of projects. The successful candidate will manage a team of internal members and external consultants, ensuring that all project aspects align with Apex’s vision and brand. This is a remote role, requiring close collaboration with our UK-based team. Candidates must have a solid understanding of UK residential construction and development regulations, with prior experience working on UK-based development projects.
Responsibilities :
- Define project scopes, objectives, and plans, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation to adhere to framework conditions and requirements. Measure and track project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Develop construction schedules, programs, and execution parameters for successful project completion.
- Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring compliance with UK building and safety /HSE Regulations.
- Oversee onsite and offsite construction activities to maintain standards and progress.
- Coordinate with the Apex team and Lenders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 12-15 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably within the UK.
- Strong resilience and problem-solving skills to address challenges throughout the construction process.
- Excellent attention to detail for conducting inspections and managing complex contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of building methods and proficiency in project management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and proactively manage project timelines and budgets.
