Senior Consultant

Description:

1. Handling own portfolio of key clients while overseeing and reviewing the works of consultants before submitting management reports to clients

2. Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions in accounting software.

3. Doing month end closing process which includes bank reconciliation, amortization, depreciation, accruals and reversal and intercompany reconciliation.

4. Client management and communication.

5. Preparing monthly management reports (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and other analysis of financial performance).

6. Preparing annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and liaising with auditors for the annual audit.

Desired Candidate Profile & Qualifications:

i. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

ii. Any professional qualifications, like ACCA or CA, are preferred.

iii. Previous consulting or audit experience in a professional firm is an advantage.

iv. 5 to 7 years of accounting experience

v. Strong experience with QuickBooks, XERO, Oracle, SAP, and/or other accounting software packages with R2R experience (record to report)

vi. Good accounting (IFRS) knowledge, analytical, process oriented, well organized, with excellent communication skills and a team player.

vii. Ability to multi-task and set daily, weekly, and monthly priorities.

viii. High degree of computer literacy, including extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office and specifically Outlook.

ix. Knowledgeable in UAE VAT and CIT law.
