Description:
Core Laboratories Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Core Analyst to join our Core Analyses Group. The role requires advanced expertise in relative permeability and formation damage (FD) operations, under high-pressure and high-temperature (HPHT) conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Core Flood Rigs Management: Oversee the acquisition, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of core flood rigs.
- Formation Damage Capabilities: Lead and expand the formation damage analysis operations, involving mud studies and water injectivity analyses.
- Project Oversight: Manage and coordinate key projects, ensuring milestones are met, timelines adhered to, and maintaining effective client communication.
- Training and Mentoring: Mentor and train junior staff and new hires, ensuring proficiency in specialized methodologies and operational processes.
- Other: To update the Senior Group Leader or Project Coordinator of progress of all assigned tests daily; To attend training seminars, read background technical papers and request technical assistance from senior staff when required. To fully complete all worksheets, data forms, records and administrative forms legibly, and to distribute or file these in the appropriate location.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Extensive Experience: Proven track record in core analysis, with significant experience in relative permeability operations and formation damage analysis.
- Advanced Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Core flood systems equipped with In-situ Saturation Monitoring (ISSM) systems, high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) analyses.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee complex projects, manage timelines, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of core flood rigs and related equipment.
- Mentorship: Ability to mentor and train junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Client Communication: Excellent communication skills to maintain effective client relationships and ensure project requirements are met.

- To report all Non-conformances and problems to your Supervisor on a Nonconformance and Corrective Action Report.

Preferred Qualifications
- Geologist, Geoscientist or similar, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge in Relative Permeability and Formation Damage Data interpretation and QA/QC
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of PVT and EOR is an advantage
- Ability to work with Numerical Simulation is an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
