Description:
The Senior Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules. The role requires in-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and the ability to translate business requirements into system functionalities. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide customers through the implementation process, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM solutions for clients across various industries.
- Analyse business processes and provide expert advice on how to optimize supply chain operations using Dynamics 365.
- Conduct requirements gathering, gap analysis, and provide solutions to meet client needs.
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 SCM modules (Inventory, Procurement, Production, Advance Warehouse Management, Sales and Distribution, etc.) to align with business requirements.
- Provide functional expertise in Supply Chain Management, including procurement, inventory, production planning, demand forecasting, logistics, and order fulfilment.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate end-users and key stakeholders on the Dynamics 365 system.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other Dynamics 365 modules (Finance, Retail, HR) and third-party applications.
- Develop project documentation, including functional design documents, test scripts, and training materials.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and support during the go-live phase.
- Assist in post-implementation support and continuous improvement efforts to optimize system performance.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM or AX (Axapta) implementation, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management modules, including Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Warehouse, Production, and Transportation.
- Proven experience in end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM, including requirements gathering, design, testing, training, and post-implementation support.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices, with the ability to recommend and implement business process improvements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (preferred).
- Experience working in global or regional implementations, with a preference for experience in the Middle East market.
