Description:
The job holder will deliver and mentor/support junior designers to deliver visual concepts and information through 2D designs, strategically combining design and brand elements to develop aesthetically appealing artwork, print collateral, digital ads, reports and presentations, wall artwork, branding, and more. The role will support all 12 brands across the Group, both external and internal comms.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting multiple brands, create artwork for online and offline mediums as required, and adhering to brand guidelines; this will include brochures/printed collateral, digital ads, social media posts, reports, presentations, web content, signage, wall branding, and OOH
- Assist in the traffic management of all design requests, delegating jobs to the junior designers and providing feedback
- Carry out brand audits and deliver brand enhancements and refreshes, including logos, guidelines, and key visuals
- Execute corporate branding and stationery
- Develop visual campaign ideation from written briefs to meet client requirements
- Aesthetically enhance presentations to support Business Development needs
- Design research and white papers in both English and Arabic
- Design of quarterly newsletters and other e-commerce elements as required
- Maintain awareness of the technology standards, social media and market trends and competitive landscape
Competencies
- Graduate in Graphic Design or a related field
- 5 years + experience working in graphic design, ideally in an agency
- Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills - InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator are mandatory
- Exceptional creativity and a high aesthetic sense
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Hard-working, flexible, and strong team player
- Arabic speaking would be an advantage
