Senior Legal Counsel

Description:

A government entity focused on investments in the UAE is looking to hire a Senior Lawyer focused on disputes. This is a repeat client of Aventus, having already placed one hire this year.

Responsibilities:

• Handling legal disputes and conflicts that arise during investment and development projects, across litigation, arbitration and alternative disputes resolution.
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts to ensure legal protection.
• Identifying potential legal risks and providing strategies to minimize them.
• Ensuring projects adhere to regulatory requirements and laws.
• Negotiation and representation: necessary, court proceedings.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of disputes experience.
• Fluency in English is essential, Arabic is very helpful but not necessary.
• Qualified at a top-tier international law firm is a must. In-house experience is beneficial.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE laws and regulations.
