Senior Legal Counsel

As a Senior Legal Counsel in our Dubai office, you will be an integral part of our Legal team, providing legal expertise and counsel across multiple practice groups. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects and cutting-edge legal matters across jurisdictions while delivering excellent service to our clients.

You will also have opportunities for secondment to client sites or other Luminous Legal offices worldwide, allowing for a truly dynamic career trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts across various sectors.
• Conduct legal research and participate in due diligence exercises.
• Provide clients with comprehensive legal support remotely and onsite as in-house counsel.
• Advise on labour law, intellectual property management, and commercial legal practices.
• Participate in corporate legal assignments in Dubai and other Luminous Legal offices worldwide.
• Assist in developing legal strategies to address complex legal challenges.

Candidate Profile:

• A qualifying law degree with membership in a recognized legal professional body.
• 10+ years of PQE, with significant experience in the Middle East legal market.
• Strong legal drafting, communication, and analytical skills with high commercial awareness.
• Proven experience in contract review, corporate governance, labor law, and intellectual property matters.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment, managing multiple deadlines with effective time management and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-performing work culture.
