Description:
Working closely with the Marketing and Sales Teams, the Senior Manager of E-Commerce is responsible for executing the DMC's digital marketing strategy across both B2B and B2C. The Senior Manager will also develop and maintain the company’s e-commerce platforms, enabling the DMC to drive the right content to its B2B partners and increase revenue and profitability from B2C campaigns in the UAE.
Ensure close collaboration with IT, Product, and Sales within the DMC and Miral Destinations Digital Marketing teams.
Job Scope:
- Drive strategic and tactical expansion of B2C sales online for DMC products
- Develop and optimize online campaigns to meet KPIs (SEM, Display, Emailing, Social media, Metasearch, sponsored Ads)
- Develop and curate digital content for the B2B portal
- Serve as digital marketing subject matter expert to the DMC team
- Work closely with revenue management, sales, and operations to support revenue goals
- Align to Miral corporate and DMC brand standards
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns for promotions and offers
- Analyse website traffic and booking data to identify trends and opportunities
- Report on the performance of online marketing and sales efforts
- Maintain and update the DMC’s website with accurate information and engaging content
- Manage the product listings on online travel agencies (OTAs) and metasearch platforms
- Engage in search engine optimization (SEO) activities to improve website ranking
- Monitor online reputation and manage customer reviews
Ideal candidate should have:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in business, marketing, or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in e-commerce
- Marketing-related professional qualification
- Experience in digital B2B / B2B2C marketing in the tourism/hospitality/leisure industry
- Minimum 5 years previous marketing experience across the relevant marketing disciplines, ideally; advertising, promotions, project management, online, research, and analysis.
- Previous marketing agency campaign planning and partnership experience
