Description:
Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Product Leader to take responsibility for the overall commercial success and profitability of a new Digital Identity solution and ensure their position as the leader in next-generation technology within the ID industry.
The Snr Product Manager will maintain deep technical knowledge of product offerings, in order to lead the development of product strategy and roadmap and be responsible for overall commercial success and profitability of Mobile ID product.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the design and development of product features, with specific goals and milestones that align with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
- Co-ordinate with R&D regarding product enhancements and modifications and oversee the sales & and marketing activities for products, as well as proposing pricing guidelines.
- Build and maintain Mobile ID product value proposition and manage product profitability.
- Analyse competitors' performance to assess market position and global industry trends to identify business expansion opportunities. Conduct research to analyse emerging industry trends
- Recommend opportunities to enhance products and services based on business objectives.
- Collect and compile, in coordination with the Marketing department, intelligence on government technology needs and competitor technology. Keep abreast of latest industry offerings and evolution of technologies/standards of the product.
- Guide R&D to constantly enhance product features and develop new innovative features and add-ons to maintain competitive technology.
- Develop and implement product pricing strategies for all components in collaboration with other division.
- Take responsibility for the Demo/ Proof of Concept (POC) for each proposed technology feature or any add-on based on client request. Ensure proper testing is conducted prior to the POC.
- Support the development of RFI/RFP response by proposing prices for all components; and provide recommendations to Solutions Architect concerning potential technology partners that offer viable third-party solutions and obtaining pricing for their components.
Required experience:
- Software Engineering within digital/mobile ID solutions (API’s/SDK)
- Market intelligence on government technology needs and competitor technology within the Mobile Identity marketplace. Abreast of the latest industry offerings and evolution of technologies/standards of the product.
- Vision and innovation around Product roadmaps and strategy
- Deep domain knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards pertaining to global jurisdictions pertaining to Digital ID.
- Senior leadership experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably software) essential.
