Description:

An excellent opportunity is available with a banking institution engaged in the provision of commercial banking products and services for a Model Risk Senior Officer. This opportunity will be based at Head Office in Dubai.

Reporting to the Model Risk Senior Manager, the Model Risk Senior Officer will supporting implementing and developing the stress testing framework as well as the development, deployment and maintenance of quantitative models used for IFRS9.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Responsible for developing credit risk models in line with IFRS9 regulations.
• Supporting Senior Manager Model Risk for the implementation of Model Risk Management Standards
• Maintain the Model Risk Inventory, Model Documentation etc.
• Support the manager in computation of IFRS9 ECL on monthly basis
• Regular monitoring of all the credit risk models to assess their performance and enhance the models to address the shortcomings identified.
• Create and/or update the documents on model development, and governance policies.
