The company offers a variety of services, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, business intelligence and analytics, application development, mobility solutions, and cloud services.

1. The Product engineer has basic knowledge to give a high level overview on how the Business operates.

2. The Product engineer has mastered the Business operating model and is actively contributing towards tactical planning.

3. The Product engineer is actively contributing towards the Business strategic planning of their IT investments.

4. The Product engineer has basic knowledge on the product/platform.

5. The Product engineer can give a high level functional overview.

6. The Product engineer actively contributes to the core product's development.

7. The Product engineer has mastered the product's features and has a detailed understanding of its roadmap. The Product engineer is aware of its technical and resource constraints, and alert on technical opportunities that might arise.

8. The product engineer has the ability to clearly understand technical, functional, and non-functional requirements, and can analyse the impact of the requirement in the current project.

9. The product engineer has mastered the technology and frameworks in his/her area of expertise..

10. The product engineer learns new skills and remains informed about industry trends in their respective technologies.

11. The product engineer has certified his/her skills in areas which are relevant to his/her responsibility.

12. The product engineer has the ability to analyse alternate solutions to the problem and can challenge status-quo to suggest the best solution.

13. The product engineer has the skill to discuss and present the solutions to architecture, security and leadership teams.

14. The product engineer has good understanding of enterprise level target architecture and cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS).

15. The product engineer follows design principles and applies design patterns to create maintainable, readable and reusable code.

16. The product engineer uses resources (people, process, and technologies) to timely and effectively complete tasks.

17. The product engineer follows Source Code Management (SCM), CI/CD pipeline and Release Management processes as per organization standards.

18. The product engineer has the skills to setup, configure, monitor, debug, and fine tune applications for optimum performance.

19. The product engineer participates actively in internal or external hackathons.

20. Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements

21. Consulting with the Vendor & Business users to continuously improve application performance.

22. Establishing the root causes of application errors & incidents and ensure timely closure of all open incidents as per incident management procedure.

23. Designs and writes test plans and ensures performance of applications, designs and leads implementation of fixes for problems within SLAs.

24. Liaise with Application Vendor on the development of new applications or modules based on business requirements and specifications.

25. Liaise with Business users, Product & Risk team identify technical requirements and develop solutions.

26. Ensure any Change Request related to scheduled changes on application is implemented as per EDB Change Management procedure.

27. Ensure application development follows EDB SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) procedure.

28. Providing software application support in close coordination with Application Vendor

29. Ensuring effective front end and back-end functionality of applications

30. Ensure all BAU & Emergence changes are implemented as per EDB Change Management procedure.

31. Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics

32. Oversees performance of software upgrades and keeps track of software licensing.

33. Implement InfoSec policies and regulatory requirements as per organization guidelines.

34. Update applications with latest security patch sets to address any security risk.

35. Implement tools that monitor the ongoing performance of the applications.
