Senior Public Relations Account Executive

AMC, a leading full-service agency driven by innovation, is looking for a motivated and talented PR & Communications Account Manager to handle a high-profile account in Abu Dhabi’s education sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned high-profile education sector client, ensuring effective and seamless communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs, goals, and expectations.
  • Create and execute strategic PR and communications plans tailored to client objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients on campaign progress, results, and insights.

 

  • Content Creation and Writing:
  • Draft compelling press releases, articles, speeches, and other content in both English and Arabic.
  • Develop high-quality communication materials, including newsletters, reports, blogs, and social media content for the C-suite, to support client initiatives.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the client’s brand voice and objectives.

 

  • Media Relations:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and industry-specific media outlets.
  • Pitch stories, secure media coverage, and organize interviews for the client with key media representatives.
  • Monitor and report on media coverage and public sentiment to identify opportunities and areas of improvement.
  • Event Planning and Management:
  • Plan and manage press conferences, media briefings, and other client events.
  • Coordinate logistics and develop event-related materials such as press kits, talking points, and invitations.
  • Crisis Communications:
  • Provide strategic counsel on managing sensitive issues, ensuring the client is prepared to respond effectively to potential crises.
  • Develop crisis communications plans and draft statements for quick deployment when necessary.
  • Strategic Planning and Campaign Execution:
  • Design and implement integrated PR campaigns to support client initiatives and goals.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize future strategies.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, digital, and marketing) to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.

 

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in PR and communications, preferably with experience in agency settings or in the education sector.

 

Skills:

  • Exceptional bilingual writing and content generation skills (English and Arabic).
  • Strong media relations skills, with an established network of local and regional journalists.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creativity in developing innovative PR campaigns and strategies.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing PR metrics and campaign effectiveness.
