Hiring Senior Purchasing Officer is needed to work in UAE Abu Dhabi
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Manage purchasing activities of the company both local and international
- Source suppliers and negotiate contract terms of agreement.
- Review and analyze pricing proposals and comparing it to previous cost
- Maintain inventory data in ERP system (Product name/SKU/cost/etc.)
- Monitor cost, supply and demand of current inventory
- Prepare, update and follow up all purchase orders to ensure material is delivered on time
- Work alongside sales team to ensure suitable inventory levels are maintained
- Knowledgeable in import and export procedures
- Works closely with different vendor companies in gaming/tech industry
Organizational Role
- Work towards achieving company goals in terms of product costs to achieve Gross profit targets and budget
- Ensure the availability, professionalism and reliability of required resources to carry out all the tasks related to the Procurement functions
- Ensure that all the technology needs of the department are identified to ensure that the department processes are performed efficiently and cost effectively
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- The candidate would ideally be a qualified Procurement/Purchasing specialist with no less than 5 years of progressively responsible experience
- Must be proficient in using different computer tools including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite
- Must have a high level of written and oral communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus but not required).
