We are a seafood manufacturing company in Dubai and we are currently looking for a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist in our salmon processing factory, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. Your expertise in quality control and food safety will be instrumental in upholding our reputation for delivering top-notch salmon products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure that all salmon and seafood products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with all relevant food safety regulations and standards. Ensure the factory complies with UAE regulations at all times.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve quality control processes to optimize efficiency and minimize waste while maintaining product integrity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, inspections, and audits. Prepare and submit reports as required by regulatory agencies and management.
- Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming raw materials and ingredients.
- Training and Development: Train, mentor, and support quality assurance staff to ensure a well-rounded and skilled team.
- HACCP Implementation: Implement and maintain Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans to ensure food safety. As well As HALAL.
- Product Testing: Oversee and conduct various product tests, including microbiological, chemical, and sensory evaluations, to ensure product safety and quality.
- Non-Conformance Management: Investigate and address non-conformance issues, including customer complaints, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Continuous Monitoring: Establish monitoring systems for ongoing quality assessment and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in quality assurance within the food processing industry, with a focus on seafood or salmon processing.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards, including HACCP & HALAL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality assurance software.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
