Senior Structural Design Engineer

Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for the design of concrete and steel buildings. You will be required to generate computer models and structural design reports. You will also be required to coordinate with various disciplines to ensure a properly coordinated design.

In general, the role entails the following:

• Preparation of structural designs
• Preparation of design criteria
• Preparation of design reports
• Application of UAE codes and standards
• Preparation of structural models using software such as SAFE, SAP2000 and STAAD
• Provide support to site teams in construction QA/QC and coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in structural design with leading consultants in the UAE
• Approval from Dubai Municipality – Unlimited Floors
• Proficiency in the use of BIM applications and structural modelling software
