Description:
Senior Travel Consultant is responsible for coordinating, promoting and booking travel arrangements for individuals, groups and businesses travels to enhance satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele. Offer an advice and opinions on where to go and local tourist attractions, events and customs.
The successful candidate should fulfill the following responsibilities and requirements:
Main Responsibilities:
- Looking after all the aspects related to the Ticketing (Domestic and International) i.e., Ticket Refunds, Issuance, Reissuance, and Cancellations.
- Assist clients with travel planning through calls and emails.
- Should be well versed with City Codes & Airline Codes.
- Regularly maintain a good relationship with our existing & new clients.
- Provide end to end service while organizing a trip from booking the tickets, reserving the hotels, and creating the itinerary.
- Develop marketing strategies to generate leads and close deals Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure quick resolution for the customer queries.
- Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Candidate Profile (Education, Experience, Skills):
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Hospitality, Tourism Sales, Tourism Operations, Sales Management, Destination Management.
- Strong experience: IATA Manuals and other legislative and regulatory publications
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Exceptional skills in sales, customer relations, communications, and problem solving.
- Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills
- Excellent knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel)
- Well experienced in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc.)
- Proficient in computer skills (word, excel, power point etc.)
