Description:
Working closely with the Content Production Manager, the Senior Content Editor play an important role in shaping our brand narrative through visually stunning content solutions for all brands managed by Miral Group. This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgment and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. Working closely with Content Producers, Multimedia and Graphic Designers to produce high-impact visuals. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for pushing creative boundaries keeping in mind foundational brand standards across all internal and external communications
Job Scope
Post-Production Management:
Workflow Oversight:
- Oversee the end-to-end post-production workflow, managing the editing process from raw footage to the final delivery of high-quality visual content. Coordinate with the creative team to establish and maintain efficient post-production processes.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless collaboration with the different stakeholders. Implement project management strategies to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Oversee post-production tasks, including color correction, audio enhancements, and final content delivery. Streamline tasks to optimize efficiency and maintain consistency in the quality of the final output
Creative Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the different stakeholders to understand project goals and messaging.
- Support the Content Production Manager with organizing a collaborative brainstorming session environment that encourages the exchange of ideas and ensures alignment with project objectives.
- Play an active role in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of innovative video concepts that align with the overall creative vision.
- Offer creative input during the editing process to enhance the visual impact and storytelling elements of the content.
- Support the creative team with developing video concepts and storyboards that align with our brand and messaging.
Technical Expertise:
Continuous Learning:
- Stay up-to-date of latest trends, emerging technologies, and editing software advancements.
- Experiment with various styles and techniques, incorporating graphic and motion elements to elevate the overall quality of the content.
Multimedia Editing:
- Demonstrate proficiency in editing and enhancing photographs and videos using industry-standard software for optimal results across social media, print, web, and other mediums.
- Provide expertise in adapting content for different platforms and mediums.
- Create complex graphics, animations and illustrations using independent judgment and creativity for the design team to develop creatives for internal and external comms.
- Make objects or characters appear lifelike by manipulating light, color, texture, shadow, and transparency, or manipulating static images to give the illusion of motion.
Quality Control:
- Conduct comprehensive quality checks on all edited content, ensuring it aligns with brand identity and marketing objectives.
Communication:
- Effectively communicate with the creative team to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Provide regular updates on the status of projects and address any potential challenges
- Ensure that internal policies and processes are followed and adhered to at all time.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
Essential
- Bachelor degree in Film Production or Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years in marketing/advertising or related field.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Lightroom and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in special effects, 3D, Adobe, final cut Pro X and compositing.
- Some knowledge of grading and sound mixing is desirable.
