We seek a talented and motivated SEO Specialist to join our team and support our efforts in improving online visibility and organic search rankings.
As an SEO Specialist, you will implement effective strategies and tactics to drive organic traffic, increase search engine rankings, and improve website performance.
Tasks
Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify valuable target keywords and phrases for SME websites.
- Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, content, and internal linking structures to improve website rankings.
- Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with target keywords and user intent.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues that may negatively impact search engine visibility.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and Google Analytics, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Implement link building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks and enhance domain authority.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and algorithm changes to ensure compliance with search engine guidelines.
- Assist in creating and optimizing landing pages, including A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Track and report on key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and backlink profile.
- Support the SEO team in conducting competitor analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Passion for staying up to date with the latest industry trends, search engine updates, and digital marketing strategies.
- Prior experience in SEO or digital marketing internships, or related coursework is a plus.
